The
Association of State Supervisors of Mathematicsis an organization
whose members provide supervising and/or consulting services
in the area of mathematics as a staff member of the education
agency of any state in the United States of America, the
District of Columbia, possessions of the United States
of America, territory of the United States, US Department
of Defense, Canadian Province, or Bermuda.
ASSM is unique as it is the only professional
organization whose membership is entirely composed of
current or previous state or provincial supervisors of
mathematics. The organization not only serves as a network
for state or provincial supervisors of mathematics but
our members are leaders in state and national efforts
to improve mathematics education.
